What is Google Ads?

Google Ads (AdWords) is Google’s advertising platform that helps you drive traffic to your website. It is a tool that helps to show ads to your potential customers in the right place and at the right time. Advertisers bid on certain keywords in order for the ads to appear on the Google search engine results page and they have to pay for each click. This is how Google makes money.

How does Google Ads work?

Google Ads works on the auction system, which takes place every time there is a query around your keyword. This auction depends upon factors like relevancy, bidding and quality score. How much you spend on a particular keyword depends upon competition for that keyword, how much your competitors are bidding on it. Once a query is made the search engine processes the request and runs the auction which will then determine the ad position and each competitor’s CPC.

Constant analysis and optimisation is required for your Google Ads to perform as profitable as possible.
